Explore It is a flexible discipleship resource designed for children’s ministry leaders in small group settings.
Each session gives you everything you need for the hour: fun activities, worship, Bible stories and prayer. With take-home Explore It ideas and Light Guides for younger kids, it is easy to keep the learning going all week.
How a session runs
Every session has the same five parts, so leaders and tamariki both know where they are.
- Start It — a game or activity that gets everyone into the room and warmed up.
- Sing It — worship, pitched for the age group in front of you.
- Tell It — the Bible story, carrying the week’s big idea.
- Action It — turning the story into something the children make or do.
- Pray It — closing the session and sending everyone home with the Explore It idea for the week.
Using it in your context
Explore It is written to be adapted. Take the parts that work for your group, change the games to suit your space, and reach for the Light Guides when you have younger tamariki in the room.
