Church Together - Gatherings to foster a new kind of family

Church is more than an event—it’s gatherings to foster a new kind of family God is forming.
In this family, every generation belongs. Toddlers, teens, parents, and grandparents all worship, share stories, dream, and discover God together. When we gather this way, we build real relationships, grow as disciples, and join in God’s mission side by side.

Church Together helps your community grow as an intergenerational—and intercultural—church. Our diversity of ages, cultures, traditions, and experiences is something to celebrate; woven together, our stories reveal more of God’s beauty.

This resource includes two types of tools:

  • Church Together Spots – short intergenerational segments for any meeting.

  • Church Together Meetings – full-meeting plans.

These resources have been created for key moments in the church year, including:

  • Lent (15 or 22 Feb)

  • NZ Children’s Day & World Day of Prayer (1 March)

  • Palm Sunday (29 March)

  • Good Friday (3 April)

  • Resurrection Sunday (5 April)

  • International Day of Children and Young People (26 April)

  • Pentecost (24 May)

  • Matariki (12 July)

  • Self Denial Altar Service (16 August)

  • Season of Creation (13 September)

  • White Sunday (11 October)

  • Advent Sunday 1 (29 November)

  • Advent Sunday 4 (20 December)

Join the journey of becoming a church where every generation and culture belongs—a true family in Christ.
