Mainly Music

Mainly Music: Connecting Families Through Music and Play

Mainly Music is a fun, interactive programme designed for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers. It’s a beautiful way to build relationships, support families, and create space for faith conversations—all through music, movement, and play.

What Happens at Mainly Music?

Each session includes:

  • Songs and movement: Simple, engaging music that helps children develop motor skills and rhythm.

  • Storytime: Often includes a short story or faith-based message.

  • Free play: Time for children to explore and interact.

  • Morning tea: A relaxed space for parents and caregivers to connect.

Sessions are structured but flexible, making it easy for families to feel welcome and included.

Why It Works

  • Builds community: Families connect with each other and with your church in a low-pressure, welcoming environment.

  • Supports development: Music and movement help with early learning and social skills.

  • Creates faith moments: Songs and stories can gently introduce Christian values and spark curiosity about faith.
