Next Gen leadership opportunities
Applications open!
There are three spots for young adults under 30 to serve on important boards that help guide and shape our movement. This is not only a chance to share your voice within The Salvation Army, it is also an incredible investment in your growth and leadership.
What are these boards?
Territorial Governance Board
Think of this as the big-picture team. They help guide the overall direction of The Salvation Army in Aotearoa NZ, Fiji, Tonga & Samoa. They make sure decisions line up with our mission, values, and future plans. It’s about strategy, accountability, and making sure we’re heading in the right direction. This is done through the covenanted relationship it has with the Rūnanga; embedding shared authority with Māori into the structure of The Salvation Army and upholding the promises of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) within the movement.
